The angle of the slats can be adjusted with the help of a glass rod, allowing you to regulate the amount of incoming light. The slats are raised and lowered with a cord and can be stopped at the desired position using a cord lock. They can be installed on the window frame or between window frames.

Measuring and installing our Venetian blinds does not require any special expertise.

Measuring guide:

-Determining the width and height. The first step is to decide whether you want to install the Venetian blind between the window frames or on the window frame. This is how the width and height can be determined.

If you would like to install it between the window frames, you need to measure the size of the glass surface, which will be the full size of the Venetian blind.

If you would like to install it on the window frame, you need to consider how far the slat should extend beyond the glass surface. In general, we recommend 2 cm in every direction.

-Side of operation: right or left side, viewed from the inside. For easier operation, it is recommended to place the operating mechanism on the side opposite the handle.

-Standard or tensioned version: the basic difference between tensioned and non-tensioned Venetian blinds lies in the lower fixing points.

Tensioned Venetian blinds are recommended for windows where the blinds are installed separately on each sash, meaning the windows are opened together with the blinds. Lower fixing is necessary because, for example, in the case of tilt windows, if the window is tilted open, the blind would simply hang vertically without lower fixing, attached only at the upper horizontal part of the window or door.

Non-tensioned Venetian blinds are recommended in the following cases. For fixed windows or fixed glass walls, lower fixing is not required, as the door or window is not moved. In the case of multi-sash windows, if you would like to install the Venetian blind as one complete unit, we also recommend the non-tensioned solution. In this case, the Venetian blind is usually fixed to the upper horizontal wall surface, so when the blind is raised, the window sashes can be opened freely, without a lower fixed, tensioned cord getting in the way.
